Weezy’s Sports Corner: MLB

This may come as a surprise to those who have not been paying attention for the past 10 or so years, but Weezy is a certified sports fanatic. He’s blogged for ESPN, he’s spoken on ESPN, and now he’s started his own weekly web series devoted to what else: sports. He debuted episode 1 a couple weeks ago with a promise to give his musings on the world of sports every Sunday. Well, he missed last week, but now he’s back.

I won’t even get into how big a baseball fanatic I am but, as such, I was disappointed that his first episode did not feature a segment devoted to MLB. This week, however, Weezy gives a few brief thoughts on some recent MLB happenings that are nothing short of priceless. Both Weezy and I are proud members of Red Sox Nation, so it really doesn’t shock me at all that he’s crazy about Manny Ramirez. The two are one in the same.

Highlights of Weezy’s Sports Corner are his segments on the NFL and NBA. Hopefully, as we get closer to Spring Training, he’ll have more to share on MLB. For now, enjoy his insight on the NFL playoffs and the start of the NBA season. And for those who really couldn’t care less what Weezy has to say about sports, just watch for his hilarious commentary.
