“Sweet Freestyle” - Pusha T
I just love how Pusha quietly comes along and drops a video for this incredible freestyle while Common and Drake are all caught up in their, ahem, “drama.” Gotta love it.

“Raw (How You Like It)” - Common
For some reason, Common keeps making videos for my least favorite songs off The Dreamer, The Believer. But being that this album is in my top five of 2011, even my least favorites stand as quality tracks. Enjoy…
“Celebrate” - Common
I have a feeling this will be my anthem as I ring in the new year. But it’s only fitting that we end 2011’s beautiful chapter in music history with Common’s The Dreamer, The Believer. I thought it would take a few listens, but I fell instantly in love with this album. Imagine being at that point in your career where the only features you have on your album are Dr. Maya Angelou, Nas and John Legend. That is the mark of one of the greatest.
“Life’s A Bitch” - Common
Common pays homage to a Nas classic.
“Sweet” - Common
This is the latest cut off Common’s forthcoming The Dreamer, The Believer. Filmed in the beautiful streets of Haiti, it’s a reminder that while the earthquake of 2010 may have been a blow to the hearts of Haitians worldwide, it most certainly didn’t break them. Their collective soul is still very much intact.
I’ll admit, I haven’t exactly been blown away by anything I’ve heard from this album, but for me, Common’s albums are usually hit or miss. I am, however, anticipating the intro to the album, which features the iconic Maya Angelou.
